Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings. When upgrading, you receive a prorated credit for the unused portion of your current plan.
Does the desktop app require a subscription?
No. The desktop app is a free download for macOS, Windows, and Linux. A subscription is only needed for AI Assist and rhyme lookups beyond the free daily allowance — the same as web and mobile.
